Foster homes needed for adults, puppies and nursing mothers with litters. Foster families truly are the backbone of the Rescue. Without fosters, we cannot save lives. Foster commitments can be anywhere from 2 weeks - 4 months depending on the dog and it's needs.

Featured Adoptables
All dogs come spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If interested in filling out an application, please do so under the 'adopt' tab. All interested adopters must fill out an application before a meet and greet can be arranged.

Alaina came to SSBR through one of our partnering rural shelter facilities who picked her and her siblings up as a cruelty/neglect case. All the dogs were emaciated, in poor health and had to have cherry eye surgery and entropion surgery on their eyes. Alaina has come a far ways in foster care and is ready to find the perfect forever home. She is good with other dogs and cats. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Meet Mia! Mia is a 3 year old Bully looking for her forever home. Mia was adopted from us last year but sadly her adopters have fell on hard times and had to return her due to no fault of her own. She is the sweetest girl with a great disposition. She is laid back and easy going. She is great with other dogs, cats and kids. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Meet Maya! Maya is a sweet, young Pitty mixed girl looking for her forever home. Maya came into one of our partnering veterinarian clinics after a Good Sam found her running with a broken chain around her neck. Maya was in very poor condition and clearly hadn't lived the best life. She has come a far ways with SSBR and deserves the best. She is good with other dogs and kids. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
